Water Heaters
Some companies will use steel braided rubber supply lines, at GNP&D, we use flexible copper supply lines as required by California code. When combined with proper earthquake bracing, the result is a much more secure heater in case of a tremor. Full water heaters can weigh hundreds of pounds. Which means properly securing it can save you hundreds of dollars and protect the significantly larger investment of your home. We also change your gas shut off valve and supply line with every install, so you don’t have to watch your investment go up in smoke.
Toilets
Flushing should always be a one flush operation. That's why we use the best-flushing 1high efficiency model we can find. For those customers who want the lean green conscience, we seal the toilet at both the base and edges to keep nasty sewer gas out of your home. We also change the emergency shut-off valve and water supply to your toilet. Broken water supply lines and the resulting water damage are just too expensive to risk it.
Garbage Disposals
Garbage disposals come with a three year parts and labor warranty. We change tubular piping because it's the the right thing to do. Having to listen to water gurgling under your sink is ridiculous! And installing your new piping with new fittings prevents annoying drips.
Fresh Water Pipes
City codes expect Type-M copper under your house. Thats the thinnest copper you can get. So we don't use it. Instead, we use Type-L copper to prevent any banging noise from your pipes. And all the accompanying solder is lead-free. We are also certified to use code approved Wisbo Aquapex which is even quieter and could save you money. It comes with a 25 year manufacturer warranty.
Earthquake Valves
Our new earthquake valve represents the best technology on the market today when it comes to preventing a gas leak after a tremor. When we're done your new valve will be plumb, level and in complete compliance with city code requirements. Mention this new fixture to your insurance company for savings on your homeowners insurance.
